John Sebastian vs Mark D. Manalo

These two had bad blood since Terminus 2015 and tonight was the night they’d settle the score once and for all! John Sebastian came to ringside and grabbed the mic, voicing displeasure that PWR wrestlers like Bombay and Chris Panzer were sent to Malaysia to represent PWR and the Philippines, while he stayed here to solve the ‘Squatter Problem’ that was Mark D. Manalo. While he was angry about that fact, he was ‘gracious enough’ to lend his voice during the introductions to Mark D. Manalo.

The crowd was pretty much behind Mark D. Manalo as he led them to the familiar “John Sebastian” chants at the start of the match. John Sebastian tried to get under the skin of the crowd and MDM by leaving the ring and staying outside for a long duration. After Sebastian left the ring for a second time, Mark D. Manalo flew to the outside to crash land on his opponent. The Ace of the Royal Flush kicked MDM upon his return to the ring and took over match. MDM was dragged by Sebastian with a side headlock takedown before being trapped in a head scissors lock. MDM wriggled free from the submission hold but got kneed by Sebastian for his troubles. John Sebastian locked in a crossface on the Promdi. John Sebastian broke his own hold and started to kick around Mark D. Manalo around the ring. At one point, MDM tried to come back with a huge elbow drop, but John Sebastian would deliver a face rake. John Sebastian delivered a nice double underhook suplex for 2. John Sebastian did his best John Cena imitation by delivering 2 straight flying shoulder tackles, the slam, and the “you can’t see me” knee drop to the face of MDM. John Sebastian added the cherry on the top with the Attitude Adjustment and pinned Mark D. Manalo, but it only garnered a two count. MDM was fired up and delivered some hard slaps to Sebastian on the corner.

Mark D. Manalo connected with a flying fist on John Sebastian on the corner before he followed it up with a knee drop. The promdi of the PWR delivered a nice flying headbutt on the Ace for 2. Mark D. Manalo clamped in the Manalo Lock on Sebastian, but was foiled as the latter reached the ropes. In the end, John Sebastian was victorious after he connected with the “Kill Shot” to the face of Mark D. Manalo.

pwr-vendetta-2-apocalypse-kanto-terrorThe Apocalypse faces off with the returning Kanto Terror!

After the match, John Sebastian feigned a handshake and delivered a cheap shot to MDM. The pain wouldn’t stop there as the Apocalypse came to ringside and got some retribution against MDM. The masked man brought the promdi to the mat with the Death Bell. Before he’d dish out more damage, a familiar tune played and PWR’s resident siga made his triumphant return. Kanto Terror faced off against The Apocalypse, who left the ringside without even trying to fight the returnee. KT would help his friend MDM back to the backstage area before we saw…

The Royal Flush Game Plan

Backstage, we see the Royal Flush making a ‘game plan’ for Bryan Leo’s main event match against Ralph Imabayashi. Sadly, they did NOT notice that they were loudly proclaiming their ingenious plan outside of the restroo…er…Mr. Sy’s office. Mr. Sy, who didn’t appreciate the plan, had plans of his own and banned the Royal Flush members from ringside for Leo’s PWR title match against Ralph Imabayashi.

James “Idol” Martinez vs Rederick Mahaba

The Network’s Idol came to ringside with his faithful downlines and was set to tangle with Rederick Mahaba. Obviously out muscled and outclassed in the size department, Idol took it upon himself to get help from his PoWeR Drink at the start of the match. It didn’t work for Idol as Mahaba used his strength to shove the Network leader around to start the match. Mahaba delivered some punishing knees to Idol before he would be clubberin’ him to the mat. Mahaba delivered a huge splash on Martinez before unleashing more punishment with a huge front slam. Idol narrowly escaped the dreaded Jaccolade as he raked the face of his opponent. Idol slid to the outside of the ring and was chased by the bigger man. Idol used his craftiness to slide into the ring apron where Mahaba couldn’t reach him and delivered a successful sneak attack from behind. Chino Guinto got into the action as well, attacking Rederick Mahaba on the outside while the referee wasn’t looking. Idol pinned Rederick insdie the ring but only got a 2 count. Idol backed Rederick into the corner and delivered some hard punches. Guinto would again sneak in a few attacks at the trapped Intimate Warrior while the referee wasn’t looking.

James “Idol” Martinez unleashed his facial products (bronco buster) on Rederick at the corner before he followed things up with a DDT. Idol kept Rederick grounded for a good while with a headlock, but the bigger man started to fight out of it. The Afrodesiac crushed Idol on his comeback with a huge splash on the corner. Rederick pinned Idol, but the smaller man managed to get himself on the ropes by 2. Chino Guinto pulled Idol out of the ring for safety  and would attack Mahaba yet again. Idol assaulted Rederick Mahaba at the corner before Mahaba fought back. Rederick delivered another devastating splash and would attempt a second straight splash. Rederick missed his splash and it gave Idol the opportunity to go to his corner and chug his PoWeR drink. His gamble to get his drink was costly s Rederick caught him yet again and slammed him for the pin. Idol kicked out at two and surprised the big man with an offensive retaliation. James “Idol” Martinez connected with a knee to the face of Rederick and pinned him, only to get a 2 count.

Vintendo arrived to assault Bruno Bernardo with a steel chair and chased Guinto out of the ringside. Idol realized he lost his backup and was staring at the stage, setting up Rederick’s eventual attack. Rederick slammed Idol to the mat yet again and was ready to pin him, until The Machine made his debut to the main roster and slid inside. The newcomer took down Rederick with his finisher called The Good Knight before he placed Idol on the fallen King of Schlong Style. 1-2-3 and Idol secured his second singles victory in PWR.

Ready to Fight!

The next video package aired and it showed Crystal getting ready for tonight’s match. “The Senyorito” Jake De Leon wished the girl good luck before she continued her training. On the other side of the iACADEMY backstage area, we also see Peter Versoza getting ready to go. Sadly, he opened one too many wrong doors to reveal occupants in the bathroom stalls he was trying to enter. I guess you could say, that area was reserved for the ‘downlines’.

Crystal vs Peter Versoza

One of the most controversial matches to date in finally happened as PWR’s former ring announcer battled one of PWR’s most dangerous competitors. It was like a Bambi vs Godzilla story at the start but Crystal surprised everyone with her athletic prowess during the match. PV tried to take a advantage after a cheapshot during their handshake. Crystal surprised PV by quickly reversing his wristlock and trapped him in a headlock. PV got out of the way of the headlock and tried to ground the smaller competitor, however he was victory rolled for a pinfall. Versoza kicked out at 1. The former Dual Shock member took Crystal down with a mighty fallaway slam. He would follow up the slam by dragging Crystal near the corner where smashed her face a couple of times on the top turnbuckle. PV sent Crystal to the mat with a monkey flip off the corner and then delivered a mat-shaking sit-down powerbomb. PV covered Crystal for the pin, but he cockily broke his own pin to ensure more punishment on his opponent.

Peter Versoza imposed his strength on Crystal as he connected with a gorilla press into a powerslam. PV would grab Crystal but the latter rolled him up for a pin. Crystal would attack PV and send him staggering into the ropes. As Versoza was down on the ring ropes, Crystal charged at him for a 6-1-9 attempt. Versoza, however, caught Crystal by the legs just in time and spun her around with his signature big swing. Peter drew the ire of the entire revo-nation after he delivered a hip thrust square into the face of his opponent. Crystal would deliver a headscisors into an octopus hold (also known as the ‘black widow’ submission of AJ Lee).

Peter Versoza eventually powered out of the move and delivered an Alabama Slam. Crystal tried to rally back in the end, with the fans chanting her name throughout the arena. Sadly, Peter Versoza proved to be too powerful as he finished things off with the Karne Norte gut breaker for the pin. Yet again, Peter Versoza showed his talent inside the ring as he and Crystal put on one amazing match.
