PUP Project Zenith Explores Nostalgia’s Power in Modern Marketing

This June 9, PROJECT ZENITH, a premier student-led production under the Polytechnic University of the Philippines College of Business Administration, brings nostalgia back into the spotlight through NEWSTALGIA: When Memories Meet Marketing.

Set from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at PUP Bulwagang Balagtas, the academic seminar explores how nostalgia continues to shape consumer behavior, emotional connection, and brand relevance in today’s marketing landscape.

Centered on the idea that memories create powerful connections, NEWSTALGIA highlights how brands use familiar experiences, cultural touchpoints, and emotional storytelling to connect with audiences across generations. Through insightful discussions and immersive experiences, the event aims to inspire future marketers to create campaigns that feel authentic, relatable, and meaningful.

Beyond the seminar proper, attendees can expect interactive activities, nostalgic-themed spaces, and live performances that celebrate Filipino culture and shared memories. The event will be hosted by Buknoy Gonzales and Angelica Marie Sanchez, featuring performances from Harry Ocampo, Xerenade, and a surprise special guest audiences may recognize from their younger years.
