The creative minds behind the popular YouTube channel “Puddy Rock,” Jim Bacarro and Saab Magalona-Bacarro, opened an innovative and fun playspace, Puddy Rock Studio, last November 20, 2023, at the Shangri-La Mall East Wing. Puddy Rock Studio is a leap from the digital screen to a tangible world of music, creativity, and inclusive fun.
Puddy Rock Studio goes beyond being just another play area. It’s a dynamic space where every child, from the contemplative thinker to the spirited adventurer, is celebrated and encouraged to be themselves. Central to the studio is “The Mountain,” an engaging climbing wall, symbolizing the journey and growth of every child.

The studio is filled with imaginative play areas, including the “Pizza Pizza” station, inspired by a song from Puddy Rock’s YouTube channel, where children can engage in creative play, making pretend pizzas. Above this station, there’s a cozy reading nook, perfect for young readers, with shelves full of children’s books in both English and Filipino.

“Puddy Rock Jam Sessions” offer parents the opportunity to enroll their children in age-specific Music and Movement classes or Art classes. The studio also features the “Puddy Therapy Room” for individual therapy sessions, addressing the diverse needs of all children, including those who are neurodivergent.

There will also be Puddy Rock Dates—interactive, dynamic and fun-filled classes for toddlers and preschoolers. Seasoned preschool teachers teaching the joys of music, movement and creation. With PuddyRock songs and space, these music-filled classes can help kids to explore their motor skills as well as creativity.

Parents and kids can choose between 2 classes: Music and Movement Class and Art Classes. The rates of the classes are listed below:
While children play and learn, parents can unwind at the newly opened Kape-Kape; a specialty coffee cart by the witty brand, Linya-Linya. A perfect place to unwind and recharge for parents as their kids can run around and have fun in Puddy Rock Studios.
Puddy Rock Studio is an affordable adventure for families, with play rates at Php 350 for 90 minutes and Php 400 for 3 hours. Additional guardians are welcome for a nominal fee of Php 100. The studio also offers a comprehensive “All Rockin’ Party Package” for birthday celebrations, with amenities to host up to 60 guests.
