Prison Break: Fun Run for a Cause

 

You are invited to experience New Bilibid Prison without incarceration by joining Prison Break Fun Run for a Cause. 

 

Fear not dogs, prison guards and gunfire – fear your fellow runners. You will be chase, hound and tracked through 1, 3, 5 or 10 kilometers of the historic NBP reservation while taking to the road and park trails. Your goal is the ultimate prize – freedom at the finish line! 

 

The reservation is a multi-terrain area and has an adventurous and scenic course spans and paved road. It is where the Administration Building and Maximum Security compound are located as it being shown in films and television. ​

 

The Prison Break Fun Run for a Cause is one of the major activities of the Philippine Jesuit Prison Service Foundation, Inc.’s (PJPSFI) 20^TH Founding Anniversary since its inception in 1994. The PJPSFI is one of the socio-pastoral apostolate of the Society of Jesus in the Philippines and a non-stock, non-profit organization based at Ina ng Awa Parish Compound, New Bilibid Prison Reservation, Muntinlupa City. 

 

This event is for everyone from families, run enthusiasts and serious sports fanatics. It is also a way to provide awareness for prison ministry and more importantly, it’s a great way raise funds for such an important cause and has the potential for the community to get together and support our incarcerated brothers and their families.
