Paella de Carne (P950)
The Paella de Carne with the saffron rice and toppings of pork belly, chisttora and Angus tenderloin is one of the best paellas I’ve ever tasted! What won us over, though, was the unique and smoky taste of the rice. An absolute winner!
Sole Fish in Truffle Cream Sauce (P320)
Last but definitely not least, we had the Sole Fish in Truffle Cream Sauce, which was crusty and tasty. Though I found the coating too salty for my liking, its pairing with the cream sauce balanced it out, giving off a creamy and rich feeling in the mouth.
Of course, a trip to The Primary would not be complete without trying out their desserts, cocktails and drinks!
Nutella Cheese Puffs (P160)
As fast as it was served, the Nutella Cheese Puffs vanished from the table in a blink of an eye. The hot puffs topped with whipped cream are a surefire reason for you to come back. Just looking at the cream melting on top of the puffs, and upon breaking the puff to reveal its fillings… oh my. Words are not enough to describe the bliss of each bite of this house specialty. Try it for yourself.
Blueberry Cheese Cake and Mango and Pandan Pannacotta (P160)
To cap off the sweets, the Blueberry Cheese Cake and Mango and Pandan Pannacotta (both at P160) are perfect if you want an easy delight. I liked the Blueberry Cheese Cake more, though. It has ice cream as its base, making it different from the usual cheesecakes out there. The effect? A chilly, pleasing finale.
