6 P-pop Songs You Should Play at Your New Year’s Eve Parties

This year may be coming to an end, but the Pinoy pop (P-pop) industry’s incredible milestones are far from over. Our favorite local artists and idol groups have had a spectacular run so far, and they’re still gearing up for more surprises this holiday season. What better way to say cheers to their well-earned recognition than spending New Year’s Eve with them?

A wide variety of local hits have dominated global charts, taken over our playlists, and brightened up our music recaps this year. These groundbreaking new releases are no exception.

If any of these diverse P-pop staples made it to your music rotations in 2025, this is your sign to welcome the new year right by putting them on repeat with your loved ones.

It doesn’t matter if you’re living it up at a New Year’s Eve party, joining a massive crowd at a countdown concert, or keeping it simple with a get-together at home. Whichever way you choose to kick off 2026, these six P-pop songs will give you a reason to celebrate, get up on your feet, and dance like there’s no tomorrow.

“Bikini” – BINI

It seems like the nation’s girl group has another viral hit on its hands. This refreshing new track from FLAMES, BINI’s latest album, became an instant dance craze and fan favorite after Blooms heard it live at the group’s BINIfied concert on November 29, 2025.

In “Bikini,” BINI gives you the confidence boost you need to start the new year right. The song had fans falling in love with its catchy lyrics and powerful message, which will surely keep us motivated in the weeks to come.

“LuzViMinda” – ALAMAT

Pinoy pride reaches new heights in “LuzViMinda,” the daring and unapologetic lead single of ALAMAT’s latest self-produced album, Destino.

On November 12, 2025, the multilingual boy group made an impactful comeback with a dynamic music video for the song. Each scene highlighted benchmarks of Filipino culture, such as jeepney terminals, barber shops, computer shops, and sari-sari stores.

“Baduy” – VVINK (With DJ Love and Pio Balbuena)

Your New Year’s Eve P-pop playlist isn’t complete without this upbeat single that’s giving the whole country Last Song Syndrome (LSS). There’s nothing weird or cringe-worthy about taking pride in our local music scene, and five-member girl group VVINK gets that point across enthusiastically in “Baduy.”

“Baduy” is the girls’ collaboration with DJ Love, the country’s budots pioneer, and Filipino rapper Pio Balbuena. The song also highlights distinct dance-pop instrumentals and trendy choreography that will keep you grooving from start to finish.

“LAKUMPAKE!” – G22

This year has been AJ, Alfea, and Jaz’s most game-changing era yet. If you thought they’d sit back and take a break after the success of their previous comebacks, “Pa-pa-pa-palaban” and “Filipina Queen,” you thought wrong.

On November 22, 2025, G22 took the P-pop scene by storm again with “LAKUMPAKE!,” the empowering lead single from the group’s first full-length album, The Dissection of Eve. “LAKUMPAKE!” is the girls’ way of sharing the spotlight and drowning out the negativity that surrounds them.

“Kembot” – GAT

GAT is back with another catchy single that you won’t be able to get out of your head. If you want to steal the scene and make heads turn on New Year’s Eve, “Kembot” will get you in a cool and confident mood in no time.

“Kembot” is also the theme song of the Ang Mutya ng Section E: The Dark Side. The hype never stops with GAT, and we can’t wait for this song to go as viral as “Daleng Dale” did earlier this year.

“Diva Diba” – RAYA

Girl power and “girl boss energy” shine bright in “Diva Diba,” the latest single by RAYA, the “nine gems of P-pop.”

The versatile girl group goes all-out in this radiant and charismatic anthem, where each member proudly showcases their unique talents, stellar vocals, and jaw-dropping dance moves.
