After closing its first pop-up store in SM Mall of Asia in January, the iconic brand POP MART has returned with another pop-up store in a new location—SM Makati.
Located in the heart of the Makati business district, POP MART wishes to make its iconic collectibles accessible to more Filipino fans. Does this mean that more pop-up locations are coming after SM Makati? Or perhaps a permanent store? We can only cross our fingers for now and hope!

POP MART SM Makati opens on Valentine’s Day
POP Mart SM Makati pop-up officially opened to the public on Valentine’s Day, February 14, 2025, although pre-registration was required to visit on its opening day until February 15. The pre-registration was announced on POP MART’s social media pages a few days before the launch and, according to POP MART’s team, was fully booked within minutes.
But don’t fret! If you weren’t able to sign up for online registration, you can walk in starting February 16, 2025 to shop for your favorite blind box figurines.
Celebrities Marian Rivera, Nadine Samonte, Martin Nievera, and Jed Madela were among the celebrities spotted at the POP MART SM Makati pop-up launch.
The When In Manila team was able to take a sneak peek at the SM Makati pop-up store ahead of its opening. The launch was attended by media, content creators, and celebrities. Actress Marian Rivera—who is known for her extensive POP MART collection—was in attendance, as well as other avid celebrity collectors such as Nadine Samonte, Martin Nievera, Jed Madela, and Daphne Oseña-Paez.
