If you opt to enjoy extreme water sports, you may head on over to the Galapagos beach to try out jet skiing, parasailing, diving and many more! You might also want to try Plantation Bay’s SUP (Stand Up Paddle) Yoga and mermaid lessons.

You can also enjoy lots of activities even if you don’t feel like getting into the pool. You can go to the Savannah Park to try out the indoor firing range, for example. You can also enjoy complimentary activities such as archery lessons, wall climbing, karaoke, and pitch putt. If you want to get physical, you can also head to the gym or do yoga or box.

There are daily scheduled activities for children, teens and adults. You may check out the poster set-up at the Gym and Game Room.

Free Shuttle Service

Don’t worry about getting to the city! Plantation Bay offers a free shuttle service drop offs and pick ups to and from Ayala Mall/ SM Cebu. Be sure to check the schedule at the front desk.

Getting Around the Resort

It may seem like a long walk to get around Plantation Bay, but you need not worry! If you don’t feel like walking to get to your destination, there’s a free electric cart that goes around the resort to drop you off wherever you need to go.

If you enjoy the water, then you can even swim your way to your destination. There are also bikes available by the Gym and Gameroom. From Fridays to Mondays, kalesas are also available for use.

Mogambo Springs Spa

The Mogambo Springs Spa is one of Plantation Bay’s pride and joy and ensures world-class services. The setting resembles an 18th century Japanese Village and I literally felt like I was in Japan.

If you are impressed with the exterior, then you will be even more astounded by their spa services. We had the Full Body massage, a combination of Swedish and Siamese, and I must say that I didn’t want that spa session to end. After a relaxing massage, you may enjoy a cup of hot tea and dip in the heated pools and Jacuzzi, as well.

The spa even has its own waterfall and needle shower nook, which I highly recommend. You may also avail of the Dry Sauna and Steam room, all of which come free of charge when you book any of their spa services.

Working at Plantation Bay

The staff enjoys working at Plantation Bay as much as the guests enjoy staying there. There are lots of perks when working at the resort. One of the benefits of the staff is that they are given the opportunity to travel abroad. Plantation Bay gives importance to the staff learning and experiencing things firsthand. Their travels abroad are not just all work and no play, either. They are given a day or two to explore the city they visit and are even given some pocket money for their personal use.

One of the other aspects that the management gives importance to is the staff’s personal growth. Some of them are even given the opportunity to study at Cornel Univerity. All memebers of the staff enjoy working at Plantation Bay as the management fully supports each member’s potential growth and development. At Plantation Bay, you would notice on the name plates that there are no title labels, just names. The reason for this is that each and every staff is treated equally. There is no hierarchy and there are no biased treatments based on superiority.

Plantation Bay Resort and Spa has two main goals: (1) to be the best resort (2) and to be the best workplace. Based on my 4 days and 3 nights stay at the resort, I must say that these goals were achieved.

Plantation Bay is indeed more than just a resort, it’s an experience. Just like any other guest, I cannot wait to go back to this paradise in Mactan.
