Women commuting between Parañaque and Cubao have a small perk this month: free rides at the Parañaque Integrated Terminal Exchange (PITX) on certain days.
Every Tuesday and Thursday in March, buses leaving PITX will allow female passengers to ride for free during peak hours—from 5 AM to 9 AM and 5 PM to 9 PM. The specific dates for 2026 are March 5, 10, 12, 17, 19, 24, and 26. Boarding is at Gate 10, bay 5.
It’s a practical way to make a daily commute a little easier. For women who travel this route regularly, skipping the fare on these days can save time and a few pesos, especially during busy hours.
The promotion coincides with National Women’s Month, observed every March under Proclamation No. 227 s. 1988. At PITX, the focus is on providing a small, convenient benefit for women commuters rather than a broader statement—just a simple way to make the daily routine a bit lighter.
