It was a night of beauty and glamour at the Miss Universe 2022 held at the Mall of Asia Arena.
Though the eyes are all on the 32 contestants, Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach turned heads with her breathtaking gowns.
Pia shares her looks on her YouTube channel a video entitled Pia’s Pasabog. She pays homage to 4 Filipino Miss Universe titleholders and celebrates Filipino creativity and talent through the looks she showcased during the beauty pageant.
Pia’s first look was inspired by Miss Universe Gloria Diaz. The modern Filipiniana gown was a work of Mark Bumgarner and the whole look is styled by Adrienne Concepcion.

Her next look is a modern gown created by Jaggy Glarino and styled by Perry Tabora. According to the designer, the piece is inspired by activewear and since he always wanted to create a look with the 60s Pan-T Shoes, he saw this opportunity to create something with it. They took inspiration from the flower in Margie Moran’s gown.

Pia’s third look is inspired by her gown during her win on the international stage. The sexy blue creation is by Louis Pangilinan and styled by Rain Dagala. They shared that they took inspiration from Pia’s crown and of course, the iconic blue color.

Last but definitely not least is the red fiery gown by Gladi Echavarre and styled by Studio Qurator and Pam Quinones. The red gown is a homage to Catriona Gray’s lava gown. The sexy number has definitely been a memorable closing outfit for Pia during the pageant.
