After winning 15 gold medals yesterday, the Philippines has surpassed the previous records that we have held in SEA Games gold medals.
The gold medal winners for the Philippines on Day Two were as follows: Lea Denise Belgira and John Derick Farr (Mountain Bike); Monica Torres (Duathlon); Edmar Tacuel (Pencak Silat); Jesfer Huquire, Elmer Manlapas, Carloyd Tejada, Sheena del Monte, Jedah Mae Soriano, Ross Ashley Monville, and Abegail Abad (Arnis); Gilas Pilipinas (Basketball); Hidilyn Diaz (Weightlifting); Kim Mangrobang, Clare Adorna, John Chicano, and Fernando Caseres (Triathlon); and Rodel Labayo and Angelo Morales (Lawn Ball).
So far, the Philippines now has 38 gold medals, 20 silver medals, and 13 bronze medals.
