The production to be streamed will be from 2012 starring Ben Lewis and Anna O’Byrne.

Love Never Dies picks up 10 years after the events of The Phantom of the Opera. The Phantom has successfully escaped to New York City where he spends his days pining for Christine who, meanwhile, discovers her marriage to Raoul isn’t as wonderful as she had hoped. When she eventually accepts an invitation to perform at a famous opera house in New York, the Phantom makes the move to win her heart once again.

The musical will be up on Webber’s YouTube page, “The Show Must Go On!“, for 48 hours beginning April 25, Saturday, at 2 AM Philippine time. This channel was created in an effort to raise funds for those in the performing arts industry who lost their livelihood as theaters remain closed amid the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

The channel streams one musical created by Webber every week. Past shows were Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat and Jesus Christ Superstar.
