You Can Now Stream Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Musicals for FREE Starting Today

Musical heads, rejoice! We can finally get our fix of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s classic Broadway shows for free every week amid the community quarantine, thanks to this new YouTube channel.

Called “The Show Must Go On!“, the channel will showcase a different Webber musical every Friday starting with the 2000 adaptation of “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat” and the 2012 film “Jesus Christ Superstar” the following week on Good Friday.

There’s no word yet on what other musicals will be shown and their respective schedules, but musical buffs already know what more to expect, and that includes “The Phantom of the Opera” and “CATS” (hopefully not the 2019 disaster movie but the official 1998 stage recording)!

Webber also teased that his notorious flop “By Jeeves” will be streamed and that he’s certain audiences will be “very, very fond of it.”

Each musical will be available weekly at 11 AM Pacific Time (2 AM Philippine Time) for a 48-hour period on the YouTube channel. Though it’s free, those who wish to make a charitable donation may do so to Acting for Others, Broadway Cares, and Actors Benevolent Fund.
