PH Passport Holders Can Enter Taiwan Without Visa Starting June 1

Good news! You can now make your dream of traveling to Taiwan come true soon and without any need for a visa. Taiwan will be implementing a one-year trial period to have a visa-free entry for Philippine passport holders.

According to the Taiwan Ministry of Foreign Affairs or MOFA, they are relaxing their visa rules to boost tourism. For Philippine passport holders, we can now enter Taiwan and stay for 30 days without a visa. This will be effective starting June 1, 2017.

Moreover, the 30-day visa exemption of Thailand and Brunei citizens has been extended while citizens of Cambodia, India, Indonesia, Laos, Myanmar, and Vietnam may avail of multiple visas.
