Yesterday, I was blessed to have the luxury of time to visit Eastwood for some much needed shopping and pampering after another hectic work week. I passed by Eastwood Open Park and saw an ongoing MUST LOVE PETS event – a post Valentine event for animal lovers (like me). There were a couple of interesting pet related booths, so I couldn’t help but stay a while and enjoy the program and interact with some furry friends.
Here are the highlights of yesterday’s MUST LOVE PETS event:
The mini program began with an on the spot drawing session by the Guhit Pinas group, followed by a talent contest which was won by the ever bibo Storm and owner Jenny.
There was also an eating contest sponsored by Pedigree.
Shamsey the dog and her owner wowed the crowed with her dazzling Miss Universe crown and gown ala Pia Wurtzbach. They were soooo adorable!
The people behind the Gerald Anderson Foundation also went on stage for a short talk, to spread awareness about their advocacy in training search and rescue dogs as well as therapy dogs to help people.
Aside from the entertaining program, the event also featured equally interesting pet friendly booths….
Pillows and More showcased these cute pets beds that pet owners can buy
Eastwood Admin had this booth for pet owners who want their pets to have a Pet Pass to get inside Eastwood Mall
The Gerald Anderson Foundation featured their Angel Dogs and gave free hugs for everyone!

Many people also lined-up to sign-up and volunteer to the Gerald Anderson Foundation
The La Salle Araneta Vet Students also offered FREE Anti-Rabies vaccination during the event

And there was also a booth, where people can take photos with their beloved pets
Last but not least, Dogs and the City had this colorful booth filled with pet merchandise, and they also offered FREE PET GROOMING during the event!
Of course, the highlight of the event was really all about seeing pets and people having a great bonding time…..
I truly had a rad time yesterday during the MUST LOVE PETS event. How I wish I brought one of my pets with me too!! Di bale, next time!
