This coming after reports that the owners of the Barkao Bull franchise is looking to sell the team.

According to reports, the team has been plagued by disbandment rumors and financial problems for a long time, and has been trying its best to compete in the PBA.

In 2011, the team was on the verge of collapse after it took a leave of absence from the PBA, but it was saved by the Linaheim Corp., which owned the then-Air21 Express team (now the NLEX road warriors).

Also according to reports, the Phoenix Petroleum — which tried to buy the franchise before — is trying to acquire the franchise again.

The team made it to the quarterfinals series with a 5-6 record this season but was sent home by the Globalport Batang Pier in a 84-95 loss on their Christmas day matchup.
