For citizens of Pasig City who were not covered by the national government’s Social Amelioration Program, the local government unit has mobilized a Supplemental Social Amelioration Program to be able to help families get by. A total of PHP 8,000 will be given to each family to aid with any expenses during the Enhanced Community Quarantine.
What’s got people clamoring on Twitter, however, is the fact that LGBTQ+ partners were considered to be family in the Supplemental SAP, gaining the approval of many Twitter users. Many were ecstatic that Pasig City considered LGBTQ+ partners as family when, more often than not, they are not classified as family at all.

Kudos, Pasig City and Mayor Vico!
