In a city of tall buildings, bustling train stations, and bottleneck traffic, we crave those little pockets of rest and respite where we can be briefly whisked away from our busy schedules to unwind.
Park Inn by Radisson North Edsa Hotel is one such haven located within the heart of Quezon City offering that much-needed relaxation to anyone—be it businessmen, families, and solo staycationers.

Upon entering Park Inn by Radisson North Edsa, the first word that comes to mind is “simple.” But with its simplicity comes excellent service and a no-frills kind of stay that somehow makes you feel at home away from home.
The hotel offers a range of facilities including three dining options, two outdoor swimming pools, a 24-hour fitness center, and flexible function spaces that can cater to events of up to 660 persons. It’s also connected directly to the SM City North Edsa shopping complex, which is convenient for whenever you want to do some retail therapy.
The hotel features 238 contemporary and comfortable rooms and suites fit for weekend getaways to extended stays. The one I had the pleasure of staying in overnight was a rather spacious Deluxe Room that was complete with the necessary basics: a work table, tons of sockets, a TV that not only has cable channels but shows you all the information about the hotel and even flight schedules, an open closet with an ironing board and safe, a fridge, and a cozy bathroom with a bidet.
I also loved the comfy red chair I had next to the window of my room and spent most of the evening just seated there reading my book.
As mentioned, there’s tons of dining options available. Guests can enjoy unlimited Korean barbeque anytime during the day and, trust me, you should! Each of the side dishes are freshly made and prepared in the kitchen, and the selection of meat are just so juicy and tender!
The kitchen staff barbeque the meat for you upon ordering so if you’ve got a big appetite, better let them know beforehand how much you’ll want them to bring to your table.
Other than KBBQ, the Lobby Bar also serves local and international comfort food for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. What I found most appealing was the grab-and-go counter called “Dash” which had prepackaged snacks, meals, and drinks and is open 24/7! No need to worry about getting hungry in the middle of the night!

Of course, what I consider the highlight of my stay is the newly opened Mandara Spa located at the 8th floor.
The Mandara Spa, which pioneered the boutique spa concept in the Philippines over 10 years ago, is well-known and acclaimed for offering personalized, luxurious treatments from head to toe at the best value-for-money rates. Knowing that it had been named one of the Top Spas in the Philippines alongside other five-star hotels, I was thrilled to finally be able to experience it myself.
And may I just say that it truly was the most unique and memorable spa session I’ve ever had. What I got was the 3-hour-15-minute Ultimate Mandara Experience that included a foot spa, body scrub, body wrap, back massage, and hydrating facial. Literally, I was pampered from head to toe!
What also caught my attention was how they make use of only premium organic aromatic oils and ingredients. After all the scrubbing and body wraps, I really felt that my skin was brighter, softer, smoother, and more supple.
One thing to note as well is that The Mandara Spa’s staff still put their client’s safety as its topmost priority, so every room is equipped with HEPA air purifiers and is nano-sanitized after every treatment. The masseuses also wear disposable gloves the entire time.
Truly, my Mandara Spa experience was a true luxurious and relaxing retreat, one that anyone could have without leaving the Metro, and I would go back even just for the Signature Massage after a particularly tiring work week.
Park Inn by Radisson North Edsa really is a wellness destination meant for anyone seeking a break from the hustle and bustle of city living while still being in it, and I am looking forward to my next stay!
