Once again, the peso’s purchasing power has hit another record-breaking low in April 2026.

According to National Statistician and Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) chief Claire Dennis Mapa, the purchasing power of ₱1 is now at 0.73 centavos, based on 2018 prices.
