Well, talk about determination!
People’s Champ Manny Pacquiao is still apparently not giving up hope on a possible rematch with Floyd Mayweather Jr., despite the latter recently retiring from the sport, according to local reports.
After the so-dubbed “mega fight”, Mayweather retired with a record of 49-0 later in the year, after his last fight with Andre Berto.
Mayweather’s adviser, Leonard Ellerbe, CEO of Mayweather Promotions, tweeted recently that the boxer was “retired, end of discussion”.
Pacquiao, however, insists that this is not the first time Mayweather has announced his retirement, only to make a comeback.
The Pacman is planning to return to the boxing ring in 2016, and is expected to name his upcoming opponent next month.
Would you still watch a Pacquiao-Mayweather rematch?
