When In Manila the Philippines, people have been known to be innovative, ingenious people. Despite having limited means, Filipinos have been able to prove time and time again that we always find solutions to whatever problem we may encounter.
A photo posted by Facebook user Charie Villa, show us just how innovative people can get. Presenting, the double decker tricycle:
We don’t know the exact story behind this amusing photo but it sure is a sight to see.
What do you think?
mas presko sa taas….
Ingenious? Innovative? Amusing? You got to be kidding! This is proof that, 1. The LTO is again sleeping on the job. If motor vehicles are governed by guidelines for installation of roof racks for top loading and assessed an additional fee therefor, I wonder if there are guidelines for this thing you call an “innovation.” 2. This is another glaring example of Filipinos’ “paraparaan,” “pwede na yan” culture because there are no proper standards and regulations being imposed that seek to elevate, rationalize and improve the transportation system. The result … CHAOS! It is obvious that this contraption makes the vehicle top-heavy especially when loaded and therefore highly likely to topple over posing danger to life and limb. Does this guy even have insurance? C’mon people, it’s 2015 … let’s do things the right way naman!
