Capital G was founded by original Philippine All-Stars member Chelo Aestrid a few years back as she spearheaded the apparel sales of the Philippine All-Stars. Hard work, love, and passion ultimately led to a cool and hip store dedicated to being a one-stop urban shop located at the heart of the metro. Capital G has it all as a one-stop urban shop: from clothes and caps to cool attitude, it has everything an urban culture lover needs. Capital G is the only one-stop urban shop in the Philippines.

What makes Capital G a one-stop urban shop?
The store, currently primarily a hip hop center, also features a dance studio in the inner part of its premises. Dubbed as the “Center for Arts, Learning, and Your Expression” (or Capital G CALYE), Capital G is the standard-bearer for the four elements of hip hop. There are MC sessions behind the store doors; DJ equipment and workshops are available here; the walls are living expressions of taggers’ skills of graffiti; and the dance studio is a mecca for dancers of all styles. In this one-stop urban shop, everything’s Good with a Capital G!
Capital G also features dance classes and workshops, and When In Manila was invited to participate in a krump class taught by Krumpinoy’s Phill “Adrum” Pamintuan. More than a dance class, the workshop was a soul-searching and inspirational journey for the participants – proof that as a one-stop urban shop, Capital G promotes the deeper aspects of urban culture as well.
