One of New York’s Finest Steaks, Wolfgang’s Steakhouse, is Opening in BGC

Amidst the hustle and bustle of Bonifacio Global City, one of the country’s prime business districts, a familiar name is about to redefine the dining experience the area is known for. BGC is home to many sought-after food joints, and Wolfgang’s Steakhouse is further adding to the list with so much to offer.

Wolfgang’s Steakhouse is an international restaurant hailing from New York that has made a name for itself with their unique technique of handling their specialty USDA Prime Angus Beef. The top-quality meat is already enough to make anyone swoon; it’s graded Prime by the USDA due to its high amount of marbling, giving it an incredible depth of flavor, juiciness, and tenderness. However, they took it even a step further and enhanced their meats to perfection through dry-aging, resulting into gastronomic steaks that are now known around the world.

Wolfgang’s Steakhouse, Resorts World Manila

Wolfgang’s Steakhouse is rated as one of the best steakhouses in the Big Apple, and that success enabled them to establish 19 locations globally. In the Philippines, they currently have two locations: one in Resorts World Manila and one in The Podium, Ortigas. And, now, they are about to open their third Philippine location in One Bonifacio, BGC by December 22nd.

If you haven’t eaten at Wolfgang’s Steakhouse yet and are not sure on what to look forward to, here are some dishes that the President and VP of Operations and Partner of the restaurant, Peter Zweiner and Lydia D’Amato, recommend for first-timers:

Seafood Platter

This dish is paradise on a plate. Fresh Maine lobster, jumbo shrimp cocktail, and jumbo lump crab meat are beautifully served with a cocktail sauce to complement their natural umami.

Sizzling Canadian Bacon 

This Western-favorite is savory and adequately sweet at the same time, and oozes with meat juice in every press of the fork. You could not ask for a juicier cut.

Beverly Hills Chopped Salad 

Peter and Lydia adore this salad because of its play on flavors. The various tastes and textures going on in your mouth mixed with the refreshing greens would make it possibly one of the best salads you’ll ever taste.


A Porterhouse steak is a classic among steakhouses, but you’ll realize they’re not all the same until you’ve tasted a cut of their USDA Prime Angus dry-aged beef. You won’t go wrong with this choice for grown-ups and kids alike.

German potatoes

Potatoes are versatile ingredients; you can fry, mash, bake, or boil them however you prefer. Their take on this vegetable crop would ultimately be the perfect side dish for your steak. I bet one order wouldn’t be enough for your table!

Dessert Platter

Not all things that come in three are bad. The serving of New York-Style Cheesecake, Apple Strudel, and Pecan Pie with schlag in the middle to saturate the sweetness would make you believe that this trio makes a good combo. At least, you won’t have a hard time deciding on which dessert to get!

Wolfgang’s Steakhouse in One Bonifacio BGC will officially open its doors on December 22nd at 5pm, serving dinner everyday from 5pm to 12mn until January 1st 2019.
