OMG! Market Celebrates Love and Community Through Cupid’s Market

Cupid’s Market turned Valentine’s season into something more meaningful at UP Diliman Gyud Food (2nd Floor), as OMG! Market brought together a vibrant community of local brands, young entrepreneurs, and students from February 12–14, running daily from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM. More than a themed pop-up, the three-day market was a celebration of love in all its forms—romantic, creative, and communal—set right in the heart of the university.

True to OMG! Market’s vision, Cupid’s Market wasn’t just about finding the perfect Valentine’s gift. It was about creating a space where local brands could thrive and where young entrepreneurs were given the spotlight they deserve. The energy echoed what we’ve seen in previous OMG! Market gatherings: a warm, welcoming atmosphere that encouraged people to slow down, explore, and genuinely connect—with the products, the founders, and each other.

The lineup of merchants reflected the diversity and creativity of the local scene. Visitors were greeted by photobooths capturing sweet moments with friends and partners, flower stalls adding a romantic flair to the space, and tables filled with baked goods that felt like love at first bite. Matcha and coffee brands kept the crowd energized throughout the day, while jewelry, trinkets, thrifted pieces, curated footwear, and nail press-ons offered thoughtful finds perfect for Valentine’s gifting. There were also sticker artists bringing playful and quirky energy, perfume stalls, handmade and organic soaps and shampoos, piercing services drawing curious crowds, and many other unique finds that made every turn around the market feel like a discovery.

What made Cupid’s Market stand out was its sense of purpose. OMG! Market continues to champion the idea that markets can be more than transactional spaces—they can be platforms for growth, learning, and community-building. By intentionally curating a mix of emerging and homegrown brands, the organizers created opportunities for small businesses to be seen, supported, and celebrated. For many young founders, events like this serve as stepping stones, helping them gain exposure, confidence, and a deeper connection with their audience.

Held inside UP Diliman Gyud Food, the market naturally attracted a diverse crowd of students, families, and creatives, all sharing the same space and spirit. It served as a reminder that supporting local doesn’t have to be complicated—it can be as simple as spending an afternoon browsing, building connections, and choosing to support brands built with heart.

Cupid’s Market was a Valentine’s event rooted in intention: love for local, love for community, and love for the future of entrepreneurship. And if this market was any indication, OMG! Market is continuing to shape a local scene where collaboration always wins—and where every idea has the chance to turn into big OMG! moments.
