This coming May 16, 2026, the local music scene comes alive with a deep-rooted purpose. Nostalgia: Same Vibe, Same Mission is a benefit concert dedicated to supporting the legal defense of ancestral land rights and the overall welfare of the Ati community in Boracay.

Featuring a curated lineup of 90s indie icons, folk-pop storytellers, ethno-acoustic performers, and new wave sounds, the event aims to bridge the gap between cultural heritage and modern advocacy. More than just a trip down memory lane, Nostalgia serves as a clarion call for environmental conservation and the protection of indigenous rights.
The concert is organized by Angat Kalikasan Pilipinas, an organization committed to environmental stewardship and upholding the rights of indigenous peoples. All proceeds from the event will go directly toward the Ati community’s legal fees and the development of sustainable livelihood programs.
“We believe music has the power to connect us to our roots and to one another,” says the AKKaP organizing team. “Through Nostalgia, we celebrate the sounds that shaped a generation while standing in solidarity with the original guardians of our islands.”
Attendees can expect an intimate evening of soulful performances and meaningful storytelling. A highlight of the night will be the premiere of the second installment of Mga Luha sa Isla, a documentary series chronicling the struggle and resilience of the Ati people.
Join us for a night where every note played helps secure a better future for the Ati community.
