Guys — this is the real deal! There’s bacon-tasting seaweed and is healthy for you… even healthier than kale!
This was revealed by the researchers at Oregon University’s Hatfield Marine Science Center, who actually created and patented this type of seaweed, known as Dulse. Its healthy properties and bacon-esque flavor led them to believe in its potential to be made commercially available!
Dulse is new strain of red marine algae that looks like red lettuce and is packed with minerals and protein. It grows in the wild along the Pacific and Atlantic coastlines, and is sold as a cooking ingredient or nutritional supplement.
So yes, it’s what health buffs call a “super food”… much more so than everyone’s favorite super food, kale, with twice its nutritional value!
We can’t wait for this.
