We’re Tuning in To These 5 P-pop Boy Groups This Year—Here’s Why

Many Filipinos excelled in various artistic fields in 2025, and the Pinoy pop (P-pop) industry was one of them. Even if you aren’t a fan of the country’s prominent idol groups, their achievements and milestones have trended locally and internationally, making them impossible to ignore.

If you entered your P-pop stan era last year, you’ll definitely want to stick around this year for more groundbreaking comebacks, projects, and live shows by our favorite Filipino performers.

The local music scene is also teeming with new faces, and we can’t wait to follow their journeys this year as artists on the rise. It won’t be long until more P-pop groups hold their own on world-class stages and capture fans’ hearts all over the world.

Speaking of fresh faces, these five P-pop boy groups have successfully made it on our radars and playlists for 2026. Once you give their songs a try, there’s a good chance you’ll end up stanning them, too.

AJAA

You can count on AJAA to instantly cheer you up whenever you’re down in the dumps. Ash, Axl, Alex, and JC are earning their stripes as the “boys next door” of P-pop with their bubbly personalities and upbeat signature sound. Anyone who enjoys bubblegum pop music will definitely appreciate the group’s infectious energy, catchy songs, and irresistible charm.

If you want to stan AJAA, you can start with these songs:

  • Torpe
  • Bes I Luv U
  • Dedma

GAT

We can’t have a conversation about multi-talented P-pop idols without mentioning GAT (short for Gawang Atin ‘To). Ethan, Charles, Derrick, Michael, and Hans aren’t just charismatic performers with a promising discography. They’re also dedicated actors who’ve delivered notable performances on shows like Ang Mutya ng Section E and Seducing Drake Palma

Whether you know GAT as well-rounded idols or up-and-coming actors, it goes without saying that the boys have a bright future ahead of them.

If you want to stan GAT, you can start with these songs:

  • Daleng Dale
  • Kakaiba
  • “Rainbow”

VXON

Everything’s coming up roses for VXON, a five-member boy group that’s been bringing the heat to P-pop since 2022. If you want to stan multi-passionate, “chronically online” idols who aren’t afraid to experiment with diverse genres, then look no further. VXON’s remarkable growth in the local music scene has made the group one to watch over the years.

C13, Sam, Franz, Vince, and Patrick are starting the year off right with their first solo concert, Kalawakan, on February 28, 2026, at the SM North Edsa Skydome.

If you want to stan VXON, you can start with these songs:

  • Saksak sa Puso
  • KNT (Kanta ng Tanga)
  • Sandal

Yes My Love

Yes My Love’s sentimental music pays tribute to our favorite Original Pilipino Music (OPM) classics. If you’re fond of power ballads, nostalgic pop-rock anthems, and mellow serenades, then the group’s discography is right up your alley. Every song of theirs is an emotional rollercoaster that will tug at your heartstrings and transport you into the world of your favorite love story.

If you want to stan Yes My Love, you can start with these songs:

  • Laging Naroon Ka
  • Gisingin ang Puso
  • Ako Na Lang

Cloud 7

You’re never “too young” (or “too old”) to chase your dreams, and Cloud 7 gets that point across through fun and inspirational songs that help you stay motivated every day. They’re currently the youngest active P-pop boy group, with the members’ ages ranging from 13 to 19.

On October 31, 2025, Cloud 7 teamed up with their P-pop kuyas, BGYO, for a special rendition of The Itchyworms’ hit song, “Kabataang Pinoy.” The two groups performed their cover on the second season of Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition.

If you want to stan Cloud 7, you can start with these songs:

  • Tara Na
  • Bara Bara
  • Silipin ang Mundo
