Restaurant owners, beware: there’s a new modus on the loose.
A burger joint posted about their experience with this swindler. According to their Facebook post, a man named “Patrick” placed an order on their phone for takeout, and asked to meet up across the street with the cashier. Upon receiving the order, before the server could notice that the bill was fake, the car sped off with the change and the food.
