Nadine Lustre Births Another New Year Meme: “2023 Na, Amaccana Accla”

New year, new meme! Nadine Lustre is back at it again after a netizen posted a candid photo of her. The shot by John Paul Cledera’s sister, Nicole Anne was taken during the Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) Gabi ng Parangal. However, they captured Lustre mid-sentence on the December 27 event, resulting in the now-viral post.

The post also caught the attention of the “Deleter” star herself! She retweeted the photo and captioned it: “I think this is the ‘2023 na, amaccana accla‘ [tama ka na, bakla] pic.” This modern Pinoy slang is used to call someone out for unacceptable behavior.

Lustre has always had iconic clap backs to bashers, including the “C’mon guys, it’s 2017” line which instantly became a meme. This was her reaction to rumors that she lives in the same house as her ex-boyfriend, James Reid.

Aside from this photo being taken, Nadine also won the Best Actress for her role in “Deleter” and Star of the Night awards at this year’s MMFF Gabi ng Parangal.
