Mr. Lucha vs Rex Lawin

Mr. Lucha and Rex Lawin had a very physical match. Mr. Lucha used his size advantage to take control of the early stages of the match. Lawin connected with some hard slaps across the chest of Mr. Lucha. Rex Lawin leveled Mr. Lucha with more hard strikes to keep the masked opponent down. Lawin would mouth off to certain crowd members a few times in the match, which would prove his undoing. Mr. Lucha got the hard fought win after he hit the top rope elbow drop on Lawin.

Ashura

Ninja Ryujin vs Ashura

The mysterious Ninja Ryujin fought the equally mysterious newcomer known as Ashura. It was a fairly even contest between the two competitors. Ninja Ryujin obtained his first ever MWF victory with the Asai DDT on Ashura.

Sane readies his strikes on Stryker

Robin Sane vs Gigz Stryker

Sane vs Stryker put the crowd in a roller coaster of emotions in this evenly contested match. Sane lit up Stryker with some hard chops across the chest, before Stryker fought back and rammed Sane face-first on the turnbuckle numerous times. Robin Sane escaped the initial attempt of Stryker’s Asintado leg lock and locked in the Texas Cloverleaf. Stryker escaped the leglock and eventually locked in the Asintado on Robin Sane!

Sane with a 450 Splash

Coach Gus Queens popped up ringside to distract Sane and Stryker. Stryker delivered the Kaibre 3:16 to a distracted Sane, but broke his own pin once he noticed Coach Gus. Robin Sane and Stryker continued their match, while keeping their eyes on Gus Queens. Stryker hit the Kalibre once more, but Queens would distract him. The end saw Robin Sane hit an impressive 450 splash on Gigz for the win.

MWF Wrestlers break it up

Commissioner Shannon

Both men shook hands before Gigz and Gus Queens had a brief staredown. Rex Lawin blindsided Stryker and assaulted him inside the ring. Commissioner Mike Shannon told Lawin that he got his rematch with Stryker on the next MWF show and ordered him to stop the attack. The MWF locker room cleared out to break up the Rex Lawin/Gigz Stryker fight to end the event.

Gigz Stryker

MWF Republika showed the progress of this young pro wrestling company. There were a lot of notable improvements from the sound system to the hard hitting wrestling action inside the ring. Thank you to Manila Wrestling Federation for inviting us to this great event. We hope to see you all in September for MWF’s next event.
