Beloved Pinoy indie-folk band, Munimuni, is saying goodbye to their fans…for now.
The five-piece group posted on its official Facebook page on Wednesday, September 30, a note announcing their hiatus from music amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
Maraming problema, maraming nalulungkot, at the same time, maraming pangangailangan,” they wrote.
They then thanked their many supporters and loved ones for sticking by them through the years, most especially during a time when their industry is among the most affected by this health crisis that has disallowed public gatherings.
Mamimiss namin kayo,” they ended their post.
Munimuni consists of members AJ Jiao, TJ de Ocampo, John Owen Castro, Jolo Ferrer, and Josh Tumaliuan.
They are best known for their songs “Sa Hindi Pag-alala,” “Sa’yo,” “Minsan,” and “Solomon.”
