The best part is: you won’t just get a surprising treat out of this; you’ll also get to help out children in public schools. Isn’t that cool? Chef Sharwin teamed up with Mrs. Grahams in coming up with this flavor and proceeds for every pork floss macaron sold will go to AHON (Acts Of Hope For the Nation).
This foundation’s mission is to “bring books and Filipino children together”. The proceeds will be used to make a library for public schools. This is Chef Sharwin’s advocacy for the year and he has until December 2016 to completely fund this project. This is just one of the ways that he plans on raising funds for the foundation. What better way to help out than by creating food masterpieces?
Aside from new flavors, Mrs. Grahams also launched their Instagram contest where you can win 2 weeks worth of milkshakes. All you have to do is take a photo using their props (like what I used in these photos) found in their IG box and use the hashtag #ifeedmycamerafirst
Every week, one winner will be chosen and that lucky person will get 2 weeks worth of free milkshakes. You can claim your prize at the store itself and yes, you can go there every day for 2 weeks. I do recommend trying out the breakfast milkshake! I felt like a kid again after seeing my favorite cereals in my drink. However, if you’re daring enough to try something completely new, try their Skyflakes milkshake. You won’t regret it!
If some of you are wondering if you can take Mrs. Grahams to your party or wedding, well, you can! They just launched their very own Macaron Bar (YAYYY!). Now you can take their delicious treats to your party. They have different packages for your budget, so no need to worry. Their setup is very eye-catching and perfect for any event that you’ll be having!
Mrs. Grahams Cafe has loads of things in store for you. The new flavors are more than inviting and I will surely come back for more. Their classic flavors are also worth coming back for, too, though. Read this for more on why they have the best macarons in Manila: Best Macarons in Manila at Mrs. Grahams Cafe in Scout Rallos, Quezon city
On a side note, my personal favorite is their ensaymada macaron (try it for me when you pass by, please). So, if you ever find yourself wandering around Tomas Morato or even just thinking about macarons, you know where to go!
