Most Comfortable Shoes: Native Footwear Keeping it Lite

WHEN IN MANILA, use NATIVE SHOES for your outdoor adventures or any other activities.

Native was established in Vancouver, Canada in 2009 with a vision to combine the best of evolving technology and great design. Inspired by classic, casual silhouettes, Native shoes are made from foam-injection molded-EVA, a lightweight, durable and comfortable material. Along with a unique, low-emission manufacturing process, Native shoes are animal bi-product free, waterproof and odor-resistant. Since the first collection launched in Spring 2010, Native has secured global distribution in over 30 countries. Primer Group of Companies is the exclusive distributor of Native in the Philippines.”

“Last February 25, young and old alike were treated to Native Philippines’ first-ever Color Carnival. The affair made sure to have something exciting for everyone – from kids to yuppies, to couples, basically anyone who’s interested in having a good time.” We enjoyed the free treats and other carnival games, too.

Vince Golangco and Tracy Abad of The Wake Up Show on Mellow 94.7 hosted the NATIVE SHOES Color Carnival event, sporting their cool Native Shoes: Verona and Howard.

The fashion show featured the colorful NATIVE shoes worn by different people from different walks of life – from kids to adults.

Kids love NATIVE because “Native Shoes are easy to put on and remove” and they don’t need to wear socks with it!

Men and Women are also loving NATIVE because it is durable and fashionable. It can be easily paired with just about any look – from your casual clothing and straight to beach wear.

“They keep my feet cool. Perfect for summer.” – Terrence Lloyd, Professional Model

“I love how it comes in a lot of styles that would match my every outfit.” – Kim Chanpongco, Fashion Designer

“Doesn’t feel like I’m wearing a shoe.” – Ghia Vicente, Stylist

“Natives are perfect for the kitchen!” – Chef Him de Baron, Professional Kusinero (Nomama)

Me, too!  I just love my HOWARD NATIVE SHOES in Confetti Purple because it is super comfortable! Based on my personal experience, Native shoes are the ultimate “lite” shoe – these are so far the best travelling shoe because you can bring a couple more without adding so much weight to your luggage! Plus, these also come in different funky colors :)

Native Philippines also served up some awesome entertainment through music from international DJs Trevor Andrew and Jason Bothe who both flew in from Canada. As a surprise, DJ Trevor even gave the audience some live singing performance that night!

Canadian DJ Trevor “Trouble” Andrew is a legendary snowboarder, fashion innovator, a groundbreaking music artist, and business mogul – in style. He is also designing for Burton, Yes, Analog, Oakley, Nixon, Electric and Native Shoes.

“Fun yet functional, youthful yet classic, Native shoes are the perfect pairs of shoes to take you wherever it is that you need to go. It is hassle-free, washable (no need to worry about getting it wet and dirty during sudden downpours), odor resistant and anti-microbial (goodbye stinky feet), very lightweight, eco-friendly and recyclable, comfortable and, most of all, stylish. So get ready for fun, fashionable, summer days ahead with your own pair of Natives – these shoes can even be worn while snorkeling.”

It was pretty exciting to be one of the first people to see the latest Spring/Summer 2012 collection of Native shoes: The Paolo, The Blanca, The Hugo, The Verona, and the Men’s Jericho.

“Another important selling point of Native Shoes is its timeless style which is well complemented by the variety of colors that the brand’s core styles are available in.
