American singer-songwriter Cody Fry released a new version of “Things You Said” with Moira Dela Torre! The artists met virtually for the first time over Instagram Live to celebrate the release of their new collaboration.
It all started with Moira’s cover of “Things You Said,” which is now over 1M+ views. During their Instagram Live, Moira shared how it feels surreal to have her on this track just a few months since her cover was posted, “I can’t believe I get to talk to you right now. I don’t think it has sunk in yet that I covered your song and I’m on it now,” Moira mentioned. Cody responded thrillingly, “It’s so great to meet you, and thank you for doing this. For being on the track, for being so gracious, and for introducing me to your massive fan base. I so, so appreciate it.”
Moira opens up the possibility for Cody to visit the Philippines and check out the Philharmonic and Manila Symphony Orchestra. “It’d be an honor for me to be there. I’ve been to Australia, but I’ve never been to the Philippines, or Malaysia, or Indonesia,” he shared. The GRAMMY-nominated artist is also known for his viral hit, “I Hear A Symphony.”
