The Miss Universe Philippines organization is all set to begin this year’s round of preparations for the beauty pageant as it announced on its social media that it will be accepting applications from aspiring beauty queens all over the country real soon!
On its official post, the MUPH organization revealed that the local competition will be held on April 2022 and that it will be starting its screening process in February.
“Another year, another set of queens! The most prestigious pageant in the country will start its screening in February 2022. Get your profiles and papers ready, aspiring queens!” the caption read. The organization also teased that it is “brewing something phenomenal” for this year.
They have yet to share details on who can join the competition but the qualifications for last year’s pageant are as follows: 1) must be between 18 to 28 years of age upon joining Miss Universe Philippines, 2) must be a Filipino citizen and Philippine passport holder, 3) never been married or had children, and 4) no minimum height requirement.

Miss Universe Philippines 2021, Beatrice Luigi Gomez, failed to take home the crown in the global pageant held last December 13 but managed to make it to the Top 5.
