Mio Imada and Ji Chang-wook are starring in a romance series coming to Disney+ this October!
Set against the backdrop of an idyllic Japanese island, Merry Berry Love follows hardworking farmer Karin Shirahama as she pours her heart and soul into cultivating the best strawberries possible. Her peaceful rural life takes an unexpected turn when Lee Yu-bin, a down-on-his-luck city boy, arrives on the island. After a hilariously uncomfortable first encounter, an unexpected misunderstanding forces the pair to spend a lot more time together, setting off an unexpected romantic journey.

Merry Berry Love is the latest Asian series slated to join the streaming platform’s growing roster. Romance fans can sign up for Disney+ to stream similar titles, including Perfect Crown, which follows a Grand Prince entering a marriage of convenience with a conglomerate heiress, and Soundtrack #1, centered on a songwriter and her best friend of 19 years.
