Seems like Miley Cyrus have reunited with Disney, as its streaming service drops a teaser for her unexpected return! According to Disney+, the multiplatinum-selling recording artist released “The Climb” fourteen years ago on March 6. This year, “she comes home”. Goosebumps, am I right???
The platform will be celebrating Miley’s highly anticipated eighth studio album “Endless Summer Vacation” with an original special event executive produced by the former Disney child star herself. Titled “Miley Cyrus ‒ Endless Summer Vacation (Backyard Sessions),” the music-focused performance special from Disney Branded Television will feature seven new music from the upcoming studio album. Her chart-topping song “Flowers” will also be included along with one of her classic hits and a special performance with Rufus Wainwright.

Fans might recognize “Backyard Sessions” as it has been the global superstar’s regular series that is tied to her album releases since 2013. Now, Miley comes home to Disney as also the producer of the show, in collaboration with RadicalMedia, HopeTown Entertainment, Crush Management, and Columbia Records. So, you can expect cinematic performances as per usual, plus exclusive interviews. This time, from Marcell Rév as director of photography, and in the iconic house where Frank Sinatra once lived a.k.a. the set of Flowers‘ official music video.
