Last year, Bar Boys: A New Musical made its highly anticipated debut and quickly became a standout hit in the local theater scene. With two sold-out runs in May and October, the production drew over 9,000 audience members, many of whom left singing the songs, moved by the story, and seeing themselves reflected in its characters.
This original Filipino musical resonated deeply with people. More than just a law school story, it became a heartfelt celebration of dreams, ambition, and enduring friendship—told in a way that felt honest, timely, and unmistakably Filipino.
Now, building on its powerful story and music, the production can dream bigger as it steps onto a larger stage—not as a rerun, but as an all-new staging, as Bar Boys: The Musical.
Bar Boys: The Musical follows the journey of four friends—Erik, Chris, Torran, and Josh—who hope to become lawyers and change the world. But as the realities of school and life set in, their friendship, values, and faith are put to the test.
Barefoot Theatre Collaborative has released the full list of actors who will bring the story to life in October 2025.
RETURNING CAST MEMBERS
Benedix Ramos, Alex Diaz, Jerom Canlas, Omar Uddin, and Sheila Francisco will reprise their roles as Erik Vicencio, Chris Abueva, Torran Garcia, Josh Zuniga, and Justice Hernandez, respectively.
Also returning are Juliene Mendoza and Lorenz Martinez alternating as Paping, Nor Domingo as Atty. Maurice Carlson, Gimbey dela Cruz as Boss Mama, and Carlon Matobato as Male Professor, and others.
Ade Valenzona and Mijon Cortez return as part of the ensemble. Rounding up the returning cast members are Ian Pangilinan as the cover for Chris Abueva, Shaun Ocrisma as the cover for Atty. Victor Cruz, Chino Veguillas as the cover for Paping and Atty. Maurice Carlson, and Naths Everett as the cover for Justice Hernandez, Boss Mama, Female Professor, and others.
NEW FACES
Joining the cast this year are Gio Gahol as Atty. Victor Cruz and Natasha Cabrera as Female Professor and others.
New ensemble members are Sheena Belarmino, Dippy Arceo, Pappel, Denize Castillo, Keith Sumbi, Ammin Acha-ur, Gelo Lantaco, Daniel Wesley, Elian Dominguez, Curp Adriano, Robe Zamora Dagcuta, Joshua Rico, and Leo Lapitan.
Final additions to the cast are Jude Hinumdum as the cover for Erik Vicencio and Torran Garcia, Ace Polias as the male swing, and Aecy Abne as the female swing.

Bar Boys: The Musical will open on October 24, 2025, at the Hyundai Hall, Areté in Quezon City for a limited engagement only.
