When I saw McDonald’s post on Facebook on October 21, 2025, teasing the comeback of the legendary McSpicy, I had to do a double-take.
I Googled to make sure it was legit, and that’s when I saw there was an early-bird promo. Sadly, I’d already missed it, but I told myself that the second it officially comes out, I’m ordering.

Fast forward to the next day: I immediately ordered the McSpicy (of course), along with a Black Pepper Burger and a Sea Salt Caramel Iced Coffee to try.
That first bite? Pure nostalgia. It was still the same McSpicy I’ve been craving for years. Crispy, juicy, and packed with flavor, the chicken hit all the right notes. Creamy mayo added just the right balance to the heat, and even with my low spice tolerance, I couldn’t stop myself from finishing every bite.

The Black Pepper Burger was a nice surprise, too. You can taste the pepper’s kick in the patty—not overwhelming, but enough to make it stand out. It’s a solid option if you want something flavorful but less hot than the McSpicy.
The only thing missing from this comeback meal was the Twister Fries. Manifesting McDonald’s brings that back, too.
Now available nationwide via dine-in, takeout, drive-thru, and delivery, the McSpicy is officially back to claim its fiery throne. McDonald’s teased that they’re “cooking up something hot just for you,” so it sounds like this comeback is just getting started.

For long-time fans, it’s finally here, bringing back the familiar flavor that made it a favorite.
