‘Tis the season to have coffee, fa la la la la, la la la latte~
Whether we crave the burst of energy from the caffeine or relish in its bittersweet taste, there’s no denying how important coffee is. In fact, you can even say that it’s the lifeblood for a lot of us.
And now, coffee lovers have something to look forward to, as fast-food chain McDonald’s has upgraded its menu to include a sweet, coffee-based treat: the Coffee Sundae.
A holiday-exclusive dessert that was launched in time for the Christmas season, the Coffee Sundae is available starting Wednesday, November 4. This new sundae features McDonald’s signature vanilla soft-serve ice cream topped with coffee-flavored syrup. It costs PHP 29 and will be available in select branches nationwide.
But wait, there’s more. You can choose from McDonald’s refreshing coffee drinks. These include a McCafe Coffee Float, which features the same components of the Coffee Sundae—only with less ice cream and the addition of Coke to make it a drink. This one goes for PHP 59.

As for those who want coffee, plain and simple, the Iced Coffee Original is for you. Priced at PHP39, it’s milky and sweet—a no-frills, classic coffee. You can even get it in chocolate or vanilla, depending on your preference.
In the words of McDonald’s, “Naughty or nice, have coffee on ice.” Don’t mind if we do!
