Celebrating Cancer Survivors: Mbrace Project and National Children’s Hospital Host Graduation Ceremony

September 24, 2024, Quezon City โ€“ In the Philippines, approximately 3,500 children are diagnosed with cancer every year. Despite the challenges of limited access to advanced treatments and specialized care, strides are being made in the fight against pediatric cancer, with survival rates improving thanks to the efforts of organizations and healthcare advocates.

This progress was evident on September 24, 2024, at the National Children’s Hospital (NCH) during “Thriving Beyond the Fight: Celebrating Every Survivorโ€™s Strength”โ€”a graduation ceremony honoring the resilience and strength of 63 young cancer warriors from the NCH Blood and Cancer Care Center. These brave children, having completed their arduous cancer treatments, symbolize hope and victory in the battle against childhood cancer.
