On April 28, the actress-singer shared photos of the heartwarming gesture on her Instagram broadcast channel and penned a touching letter to her supporters.
The note read, “Malayo pa pero malayo na. Happy 10 years, our Singing Sunshine! We’re all so proud of you and we’ll be here supporting you all the way. More blessings and ‘epektus‘ to come, Maris. Mahal ka namin palagi!”

Maris even recalled joining “Pinoy Big Brother” (PBB) as a housemate, which paved the way for her career in showbiz, and revealed she thought she would be the first one to get evicted from the reality show.
“10 years ago, pumasok ako sa PBB. Akala ko una, ako mae-evict kasi feeling ko wala naman akong fans na boboto sakin. (Hahaha) but I was wrong. Ang dami niyo pala! Sobra niyo akong pinapasaya everyday,” she wrote.
She promised to work harder to make her fans more proud, “Pinagbubutihan ko sa trabaho kasi gusto ko kayong maging proud. And wow 10 years na. Ang galing. Abg layo na ng narating natin and ang dami nang naabot na mga pangarap. Pagbubutihan ko pa lalo.”
