Beloved content creator Mama Lulu is finally back in the Philippines after 18 years.

In a video shared by her son Oliver, he first told Mama Lulu that they were flying to Pennsylvania to visit her daughter. Turns out, they will be flying out to the Philippines.

“We’re going somewhere, but it’s not gonna be Pennsylvania. You think we’re going for two days. We have to pack for two weeks, not two days,” his son told her. “For the past couple of months, me and Apple… have been planning a trip to the Philippines for you.”
Upon finding out the surprise, the content creator immediately turned emotional: “I am excited… I am happy, thank you. Five (referring to her children) of you, thank you.”
Following the surprise, her son gave fans and followers a glimpse of how his mother has been enjoying her time in the country.
On her first day in the country, she shared that her first meal was chicken and barbecue with rice—a classic Filipino comfort food that can instantly lift anyone’s mood.

“Nung araw, ito ‘yung paborito niyo nung maliliit pa kayo at paborito ng daddy niyo ‘yan (Back in the day, this is your favorite meal when you were little and your dad’s favorite),” she recalled, sharing that she would also meet up with her friends to catch up on the latest gossip.
On the second day, they went to the Real Monasterio de Santa Clara de Manila to attend mass. Afterwards, they went to a Filipino restaurant along Roxas Boulevard to eat lunch.

Moreover, she shared that she bought snacks from more local brands.
“Kailangan sulitin ko kasi two weeks lang ako nandito sa Pilipinas (I want to make it worth it because we’re only in the Philippines for two weeks),” she said. “Pagod na pagod ako pero masayang masaya ako dahil kumpleto tayo (I’m so tired but I’m so happy because we are complete.”
Mama Lulu and her son, Oliver, are known for their funny and wholesome content on TikTok. They have 17.6 million followers on the popular social media platform.
