I think we all can agree on one thing: 2020 is a mess. Thankfully, Japanese tidying guru Marie Kondo who grew to fame for her KonMari method of tidying up that earned her many book deals and her own Netflix show just released her 2020 Holiday Gift Guide to give us some semblance of having our lives together.

Kondo’s gift guide, called “Joy to the World” as a reference to her iconic line “spark joy,” is filled with the cutest, most practical, and most aesthetically-pleasing gifts that are actually quite easy on the budget all things considered.
Naturally, the guide is segmented into different categories to make it easier for us to browse and find exactly what we’re looking for: “The Japanophile,” “The Neat Freak,” “The Happy Host,” “The Gourmand,” “The Spa Lover,” and “The Youngster.
”
Since the products are curated by Kondo herself, it’s no surprise that each and every item fills us with pure joy. Honestly, it’s so difficult not to want to add everything to our carts! From essential oils and incense sticks to high-quality Japanese cookware and pantry organizers, from beautiful crystals and tuning forks to a Wabi-Sabi Kintsugi Repair Kit, there’s just so many stuff that would be perfect to give your friends, family, partners, or just yourself this Christmas.

“This year – more than ever – is a time to express gratitude to the people who support you and spark joy in your life. As we all spend more time at home and embrace simple gatherings, these gifts – large and small – will elevate rituals and everyday routines,” Kondo announced on her Instagram account.
