Manila will host GOPAC’s 5th International Convention on Eradicating Corruption

It’s a given that Manila – or Philippines, for this matter – doesn’t want corruption, in any forms. That’s why from January 30 until February 2, 2013 the fifth international convention of GOPAC, Global Organization of Parliamentarians Against Corruption, will take place in the metro.

GOPAC is an international organization that’s focus is to eradicate corruption.

GOPAC is the only international network of global leaders that primary focus is to fight corruption; it has over 900 members from 90 countries including the Philippines. GOPAC‘s headquarters is located in Canada.

President Benigno S. Aquino III, who is also known for his strong determination to fight corruption, said that “the selection of the Philippines host of the biannual conference of GOPAC affirms our collective efforts to establish the principles of transparency and accountability in our society.”
