“We’re taking you to: Amsterdam, San Sebastián/Basque Country, Boston, Tbilisi, Sydney/Adelaide, Las Vegas, Manila, Guatemala,” he wrote.

Following the announcement, Gabbi Garcia expressed her enthusiasm by commenting, “Omg MANILA?!?!” The 65-year-old producer and writer responded, “YES GABBI.”

Meanwhile, another online user wrote: “I love this show and I’m so happy they’re finally featuring Manila. Mabuhay.”

In October 2024, he visited the Philippines and was spotted at Txoko Asador in Makati and Taal Vista Hotel in Tagaytay.

“Isn’t this the perfect backdrop for enjoying your refreshing pineapple drink, Mr. Phil Rosenthal? Thank you for visiting the Philippines, especially beautiful Tagaytay!” Taal Vista Hotel captioned their post.

“Somebody Feed Phil,” now on its eighth season, follows Phil Rosenthal as he explores and tries the local cuisine of each featured city. In the past seven seasons, he featured multiple cities such as Bangkok, Seoul, Kyoto, and Taipei, among others.

The highly anticipated travel documentary series is set to premiere on June 18, exclusively on Netflix.
