Engkanto Brewery, the most internationally awarded local craft brewery, is once again leading the Filipino craft community in organizing the first MABREWHAY CRAFT BEER FESTIVAL, co-presented by Ayala Land and Make It Makati, from May 16 to 18, 2025, at the Ayala Triangle Gardens, Makati City. Admission to the festival is free.
Following the successful turnout of last year’s Craft Beer Fest 2024, which had an estimated total of 7,500 attendees over two days, MABREWHAY aims to draw more beer enthusiasts—this time for an unprecedented three straight days—making it the longest craft beer celebration in the country.

MABREWHAY CRAFT BEER FESTIVAL
Joining Engkanto at the festival are the finest local craft breweries from different parts of the country, showcasing their best brews: Boondocks Brewing, Bulul Brewery, Craft Beer Sanctuary, Cubao X Brewery, Elias Wicked Ales & Spirits, Kumintang Brewery, Mitchell’s Backyard Brewery, Monkey Eagle Brewery, Palm Tree Abbey, Papa Bolo, and Treeline Ales.
These homegrown breweries have earned both local and international accolades, including the Asia Beer Championship’s (ABC) Champion Small-Sized Brewery of Asia for Elias, the ABC Gold Award for the Mocha Stout of Mitchell’s, and Brew King Philippines’ Most Creative Brew and Winning Brewery for Cubao X.
The Philippine Craft Brewers Association, Manila Mashers Homebrewing Club, Hitachino Nest from Japan, and Yakima Chief Hops are joining forces for the first time to amplify appreciation for craft beers. They will host a brewers session, hops sensory experience, homebrewing demo, and beer-tasting masterclasses to deepen attendees’ understanding of the art and science behind brewing.
A huge giveaway awaits festivalgoers, who will get a chance to win a trip to Chiang Mai courtesy of Cebu Pacific, along with summer flip-flops from Havaianas and ride vouchers from GrabCar. Fun activities are also slated, including a frisbee bootcamp for kids hosted by the Nuvali Frisbee Club, cornhole games, and more. Fujifilm Philippines will also conduct a short photography workshop.
A smashing selection of local musicians will bring even more excitement to the festival, with Anima Tierra, Purples n’ Oranges, of Mercury, Uncle Bob’s Funky Seven Club, Rafael Sudayan, and Mint Magic taking the stage for live performances. Meanwhile, the all-vinyl DJ duo The Groovesetters and DJ SARAH will be spinning the funkiest tracks for all three days.
Rounding out the excitement are local chefs, brands, and entrepreneurs ready to serve up their finest dishes and cool offerings for the crowd.
