In a statement released on Weverse, the agency shared that Lucas’ contract has “officially concluded as of April 24.”
“We sincerely thank fans for the great love and support they have shown Lucas… We will cherish the time we have shared with Lucas, from his trainee days to his various activities following his debut, and we will support his new endeavors going forward,” the statement read.
In the same month, NCT members Mark Lee and Ten have also concluded their exclusive contract with the agency.
Lucas debuted in 2018 as a member of NCT and its sub-unit WayV. He also debuted in the supergroup SuperM in 2019.
In May 2023, he announced his departure from NCT and WayV after being involved in a scandal where he was allegedly accused of cheating on multiple girlfriends. A year after his departure, he released his debut album “Renegade” as a soloist.
