The MRT and LRT announced their operation schedules for the upcoming long weekend.

April 6 and 7 are regular holidays due to the Holy Week, while April 10 is a regular holiday in observance of Araw ng Kagitingan.

On Facebook, the DOTr MRT-3 line announced, “MRT-3 operations will be suspended from Holy Thursday, April 6, until Easter Sunday, April 9, to give way for the rail line’s annual Holy Week maintenance activities.”

Meanwhile, the Light Rail Manila Corporation said, “LRMC is set to conduct its annual maintenance activities and necessary upgrades of the system. LRT-1 operations will be temporarily suspended from 06 April 2023 (Holy Thursday) to 09 April 2023 (Easter Sunday).”

The Light Rail Transit Authority – LRT2 posted a similar statement, saying, “The Light Rail Transit Line 2 (LRT-2) will suspend its operations on Holy Thursday until Easter Sunday, April 6 to 9, but a day before the suspension of operations, on Holy Wednesday, April 5, it will implement a shortened operating schedule.”

On April 5, “the shortened operating schedule will be at 7:00 p.m. only for both routes bound for Recto and Antipolo.”

All lines will resume operations on April 10.
