Staying at home gave us a chance to find our inner chefs and at the comforts of our own home, we get to enjoy delicious meals that we only tasted at our favorite restaurants.
I am a big fan of steaks and I am so glad I found AFC or Alternatives Food Corporation who distributes imported meat, poultry,. seafood and many more. Their mission is to provide high quality products not just for restaurants but also for individuals who want to enjoy good food at home.
One brand that they carry is Snake River Farms which is known for its steaks.
We got different wagyu products from Snake River Farms like tenderloin, striploin and flat iron steak. Each cut can be enjoyed differently depending on how you want to cook it.
Our favorite is the gold grade tenderloin that is (of course), best enjoyed medium-rare. I love the marbling on the steak that gives us a very juicy steak when cooked.
As you can see on the photo below, each kind of steak cooks differently. It really depends on the cut, marbling, and how you choose to cook it. We cooked ours in a stovetop skillet. We also paired it with some truffle cream pasta and mashed potatoes.
Gone are the days when we have to go out to enjoy imported dishes made of quality ingredients. We can now enjoy amazing food at home with AFC products.
